Why swim with the Redwoods?

Mercer Island Redwoods is a group of adult swimmers affiliated with United States Masters Swimming. We take both our swimming and our fun seriously.

We emphasize fitness, conditioning, and community — and we have a competitive streak, too. We support the swimming goals of all our members. People of all skill levels and all adult ages are always welcome to drop in, sample the experience, or jump in as regulars. Your first swim is on us.

Our group has been together at the Mercerwood Shore Club pool since the mid 1990s, but dates back to the 1980s. You’ll find swimmers in their early 20s through their 80s — and everywhere in between.
